The director of the 2011 Hong Kong movie 3D Sex and Zen: Extreme
Ecstasy has denied he invited actresses to trip unclothed to audition
for his next movie, a number of women having apparently fallen victim to
an internet hoax, reports our sister newspaper China Times.
In the past week, an ad has circulated on a number of China's leading
recruitment websites, allegedly posted by a workshop named Xuan Chuan
seeking three women to star in a new movie by Christopher Suen. The
candidates must be beautiful and open-minded, willing to show their
breasts, be between 163cm-173cm tall and aged 19-25. The director will
conduct the audition in person, the ad said.
Suen, who is currently directing a new movie in Hong Kong, was
unaware of the ad until the manager of lingerie model and adult actress
Wang Li Danni told him about it. The director clarified in an online
statement that he was not the author of the post and said it was a scam.
A number of actresses and models auditioned and were asked to strip
unclothed, Suen said, declined to reveal the names of those involved.
Suen said genuine auditions would be very formal and all candidates would be brought in to audition on the same day.
