Rumor: Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy S4

As tech junkies, we're never satisfied with what's in our hands, and are always interested in what's around the corner, so here's some tasty pieces of information regarding the Samsung Galaxy Note 3.

According to Korean newspaper Korea Times, Samsung's Galaxy Note 3 will feature a gargantuan 6.3-inch display. Samsung will reportedly utilize an OLED display. Korea Times got their information from interviews with local suppliers.

The Galaxy Note 2 released back in October with a 5.55-inch screen that was a step up from the 5.3-inch screen of the original Galaxy Note. It seems like the Android trend of 'bigger is better' will continue If Samsung is indeed planning on putting a 6.3-inch screen on the Galaxy Note 3.

The handset will surely be marketed as a phone/tablet all-in-one device, and it will be interesting to see how consumers react to it.

There is no release date for the Galaxy Note 3, although we should see it in 2013, after the launch of the Galaxy S4, if the past holds true.

On a side note, Samsung's Galaxy S4 is shaping up to be a worthy successor. Reports indicate that the next Samsung flagship smartphone will come with a 4.99-inch 1080p HD display that is unbreakable, 13-megapixel camera and the latest version of Android at the time of its release. There's also talk of the Galaxy S4 utilizing an eight-core processor.

What do you think of these devices? Is a 6.3-inch screen too big? Does the Galaxy S4's 1080p display have you excited?
